Obituary

Ronald Bruce Mann passed away on April 9, 2025, in Midlothian, VA at the age of 65. Bruce is survived by his wife, Kathy Mann; children, Jackie Goodwin (Conor) and Austin Mann (Haley Crawford); and brother, Ricky Mann. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Joyce Mann, and brother Stephen Mann. Bruce was born in Richmond, Virginia and attended Meadowbrook High School before graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1983 with a degree in Business Administration. In 1988 Bruce married Kathy and the couple settled in Midlothian, VA where they raised their two children, Jackie and Austin. Bruce had a successful career in sales and worked for Fiber-Lam, Inc for 15 years before he proudly started his own company, KB Building Products, LLC in 2006. Bruce loved spending time with his children, whether it be cheering on Austin on the soccer field or watching Jackie horseback ride. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of sipping a cold beer on the patio while hanging out with his dogs. He was a big sports fan, and loved watching whatever sport was in season. Bruce’s happy place was sitting with his toes in the ocean on a wide sandy beach. Bruce’s celebration of life will be on Friday, May 9th from 4-7 pm at Hardywood Park West Creek, 820 Sanctuary Trail Dr., Richmond, VA 23238. Kathy, Jackie and Austin invite you to join them in raising a glass to Bruce’s memory.
