Obituary

Shifflett, Russell Edward Red, 80, Of Richmond, Went To Be With The Lord On Friday, August 1, 2008. He Is Survived By His Wife, Virginia W. Shifflett; Step-Daughter, Linda Burkhauter; Step-Sons, Tom Williams And William J. A. Windham; Numerous Grandchildren And Great-Grandchildren. Russell Retired From Philip Morris Tobacco After 40 Years Of Service, Was A Deacon At Bellwood Baptist Church For Many Years And Was A Volunteer With The Christmas Store. The Family Will Receive Friends From 3 To 5 Pm Sunday At The Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His Funeral Service Will Be Held 11 Am Monday At Bellwood Baptist Church. Interment To Follow In Dale Memorial Park. In Lieu Of Flowers, The Family Suggests That Memorial Contributions Be Made To Bellwood Baptist Church, 9138 Quinnford Blvd., Richmond, Va 23237.

  1. Lots of love to you He will be missed by many and all. But we all know he is still here. The race he raced he won hands down and is still a winner and now he has won his wings and that is a great prize.
