  1. Sam was a dear friend of mine during my freshman year at Longwood, when he was at Hampden Sydney. A mutual friend from those years told me of his passing. I have fond memories from our friendship during those early college years and it is always sad to hear of friends who have gone to our Lord far too early. I remember a day trip to Clarksville in 1959/60 where Sam proudly showed me his aging family home just waiting for family to enter it once again and bring it back to life. I hope his dreams came true. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time. I know he will live on in the many wonderful memories you share.

  2. Tony Agosta says:

Sam – I have very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You and your family are in our thoughts in prayers.

  3. Sam I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss. I trust you will find peace in the many memories and love he gave you and your family. Be well.

  4. Your father certainly was an impressionable guy. Sondra took me to the Ironb

  5. To the Tarry Family:I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Loved One. Keep the great memories alive; this is a comforting zone. I know you all will miss him dearly, but remember that he is not suffering any longer. He is resting now, waiting on the resurrection hope, brought out at John 5:28 & 29. Please remember the avenue of prayer. Jehovah God is the Hearer of prayer & He cares about each of you. I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers also.
