  1. Darlene and family, please know how much Scottie will be missed. I was overjoyed when Scottie returned to Chesterfield and resumed his relationship with Darlene and the family. He and Darlene were truly meant for each other. I enjoyed sitting outside with him near the garden or his bird feeders and wind chimes. We would talk about fishing, planting, harvesting, t.v. shows we both liked, his philosophies, his family, his “scratchers”, and so much more. Scottie had a great sense of humor, was a hard worker, and was a great observer of people. Scottie was a wonderful craftsman and could turn trash into beautiful treasure. Scottie’s life struggles were often hard and disouraging, yet, he fought the good fight in an honorable and moral manner. I pray that fond memories of Scottie will bring you comfort and peace.
