  1. Sending my deepest sympathy to the Whitehead family

  2. What can I say, I’m so very sorry for your loss (and it’s a loss for me as well). Sharon was much more than a friend, she was my sister from another mother.. I have so many wonderful memories. May she rest in peace …

  3. Sweet Sharon will be missed by her Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) friends. She leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts of those she touched in her workplace and beyond. Sharon always had nice things to say to encourage others during the work day. She spoke of her faith in the Lord to get through life’s trials. She was an overcomer in her life. I will never forget her smile, laugh, and sense of humor. No matter what she was going through, she found time to check in with others to see if they needed any help with their computer issues. She would even offer me snacks. I remember when Sharon worked on the Virginia State University campus and we would try to beat each other to work since we both liked getting in early. One time I locked my key in my office and she called the locksmith for me. She was so thoughtful. We had many laughs together. I know she is in Heaven and we can rejoice in that beautiful fact! It is those left on earth that will miss her very much, but for those who believe as she believed, in a forgiving and victorious Savior, we will all sing and dance together in Heaven eternally. Praise the Lord for His gift of Sharon Whitehead in my life! She truly made a positive difference!
