Obituary

Sharon Whitehead, 73, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Hermina Loffredo; father, Charles Quigley; and brother, Charles Quigley, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Caid Whitehead; two daughters, Beth Raschen (Charles), Kelly Iglesias (Mauricio); son, James Whitehead (Jennifer); four grandsons, Jeremy Raschen, William Castillo, Caid Whitehead, Andrew Whitehead; two granddaughters, Jillian Raschen, Rose Castillo. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service. Her funeral service will follow at 12 pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Heritage Baptist Church or to The Susan G. Komen Foundation. If you wish to send flowers, the family would like them to be white in honor of Sharon.

    To the Whitehead family. I am just now finding out about the passing of Sharon. I met Sharon when we both worked for VCE and she was such a delightful and fun person to be around. Sending my deepest condolences to her family and to others who knew her.
