  1. The Shapiro were the first neighbors we met when we moved to Marlboro Mass in 1964. They were like family and we had many nice years.

    1. Your family was important to my family as well. My father enjoyed knowing everyone and liked to stay in touch. I know he continued communicating with your mother into this year.

  2. I worked with Stan while working at IDS later American Express and then Ameriprise. I enjoyed my friendship with him and all the wisdom he bestowed on me. He was truly a wonderful person and loved and missed Joan so much. Now they are together eternally. God Bless you Stan and condolences to the family.

    1. Thank you for your message. My father sometimes took me to the IDS office in Boston, and I always enjoyed being there. I also attended a lot of trade shows with him, walking the floor while he met with potential clients. I have many great memories associated with my father’s work because he liked showing me what he did and never hesitated to introduce me to those he worked with. My father was happiest when he felt productive, and the contributions he made through his work are still appreciated by many people. After he retired, he still made contributions by supporting multiple charities every year. He always did his best to help others.
