WAGONER, Steven “Steve” Reid, 58, departed this life unexpectedly at his home in Chester, Virginia on Friday, January 21, 2022. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Summer Damron (Ronnie); his adored granddaughter, Addison Ferrell; son, Steven Lipford; mother, Mary Wise; half-brother, Anthony “Tony” Wise (Shannon); stepsister, Darlene Harris; brother-in-law, Floyd Lipford; girlfriend of many years, Melissa Hunter and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and several lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles “Leslie” Wagoner; sister, Dorothy “Dot” Lipford; brother, Charles “Billy” Wagoner; stepfather, John Wise Sr. and stepbrother, John Wise Jr. Steve thoroughly enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, building, fixing, and tinkering with anything and spending time with his granddaughter, who was his absolute pride and joy in life. Family and friends are invited to come say their goodbyes to Steve on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rte. 10) A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
