Obituary

Stuart “Stu” Eugene Wilson, age 75, went to be with the Lord on December 2, 2025.

Stu is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Corine Wilson.

Stuart is survived by his sister, Jean (David) Zimmerman, nephew, David (Christie) Zimmerman II, niece, Kelly (Jon) Bultema, also three great-nieces, Kendall Zimmerman, Emily Bultema, Janie Bultema, and great-nephew Parker Zimmerman.

Stu dedicated his life to service, integrity, and kindness. In 1971, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, beginning a 20-year career marked by honor and professionalism. Serving in both the Philippines and Turkey, Stu worked as a supervisor in the Military Police, where his leadership, calm presence, and unwavering sense of duty made a lasting impact on those who served alongside him. He retired from the Air Force in 1991, carrying with him deep pride in the work he accomplished and the people he served.

Stu’s faith was a defining part of his life. A committed member of Second Branch Baptist Church, he found joy in fellowship and lived out his faith through quiet acts of compassion, encouragement, and generosity. His gentle spirit touched countless lives.

Known for his warm smile, quick wit, and love for making others laugh, Stu had a gift for brightening any room he entered. Whether sharing a joke, offering a helping hand, or simply listening, he made everyone around him feel seen and valued. To know Stu was to know kindness.

Stu Wilson will be remembered with deep love and gratitude. His laughter, strength, and kind heart will be dearly missed.

A Public Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23234.

A funeral service for Stuart Wilson will be held the following day, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service with Tyler Chesson and Joe Abell officiating. A procession to Stu’s final resting place at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832, will follow the service with interment beginning at 2:00 PM
