Obituary

Temple L. Cobb, 93 of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 30, 2021. Temple is survived by his devoted wife of 71 years, Hazel B. Cobb; son, Robert Cobb; daughters, Brenda Barker, Shirley Jones, and Beverly Cobb; 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Temple served in the U.S. Army. He retired from DuPont with 42 years of service. Temple loved to hunt, fish, go dancing, and taking trips to the Outer Banks. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and he will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Tyler’s Retreat for the care they provided him the past three years. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Services, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. His funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Services with interment to follow at Maury Cemetery, 2700 Maury St. Richmond, VA 23224. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
