Obituary

Thomas “TJ” Earl Jarman, 68, of North Chesterfield went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ernest Jarman and Hazel Thompson Jarman; brother, James “Shorty” Jarman, Larry Dean Jarman; sister, Sharon Riggs and Patricia Craft; mother of Joey, Bertie Taylor Jarman. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Barbara Jarman; children, Joey Jarman (Jennifer), Jimmy Hollins (Dana); Janice Amiss; grandchildren, Auston Denny (Katie), Jimmy Ray Hollins Jr., Sheyenne Nicole Jarman, Emilee Hollins, Lana Amiss, Wyatt Earl Jarman; great-grandchildren, Travis and Braidyn Denny and several sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. TJ loved to fish, work on motors, phone collecting and storytelling. TJ never met a stranger. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rte 10). His funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Hope Rd, Hopewell VA 23860. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
