Obituary
Timothy Robert Newton, 61, of Bumpass, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Judith W. Newton; father, Tyree S. Newton, Sr.; and brother, Mark Daniel Newton. He is survived by his beloved Wife of 13 years, Jeannie Newton; two brothers, Tyree “Ted” A. Newton and William Christopher Newton; sister, Tammi Tomlinson; son, Brian Anderson; three daughters, Tabitha Newberg, Amber Newton, and Maddie Newton; two grandsons, Jaden Colley and Carter Colley; three granddaughters, Kaya Newberg, Hayden Newberg, and Elyse Anderson. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. His family meant more to him than anything in this world. He never met a stranger; if he met you once you were his buddy! If we could all be that open, the world would be a better place. He loved the Lord and he loved people. We know he is with His Savior and family who passed before him, and we will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral Home.

Timmy, you were bigger than life to so many! You leave a huge, beautiful legacy…your family who loved you so. Too young to leave them and so hard to accept. Knowing you are now with Judy, Tyree, Danny and our Lord is a comfort. All who have known you love you and will miss you so.

Tim, it is so hard to accept that you are gone. It isn’t fair, you just didn’t have enough time here. But Maddie and I know you are with your family and with God. That gives us some measure of comfort through our grief. I’m so glad we became such great friends over the past couple of years. I miss our every day talks. Maddie loves you so much, and misses you terribly. I’m so glad we were able to become close again after so many years. Maddie and I will see you again one day, Tim. You were dearly loved.
