Obituary

Tony W. Clapp, 86, of Midlothian, VA went to be with the Lord of on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyle and Beatrice Clapp; brother, Larry Clapp; and sister, Gloria Clark. Tony is survived by his wife, Sylvia Clapp; daughters, Penny Lynch, Kimberly Jenkins (Chuck), and Tracy Reeves (J.C.); grandsons, Justin Smith, Josh Lynch, and Tyler Howard; great-grandchildren, Jaytin Smith and Lily Lynch; brothers, Frederick Clapp, Darrell Clapp, Stephen Clapp, and Keith Clapp; and sisters, Darlene Alderman, Patricia Mitchell, and Rita Clayton. Tony served in the US Navy and retired after 29 years from Philip Morris. The family will receive guest from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Tony’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22 at Oak Forest Baptist Church, 5101 Courthouse Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832. Graveside service to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
