Obituary

Tracey Lynn Trivett, 53, of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 16, 2024. She was born on September 27, 1970 in Virginia to the late Robert Eugene and Alice Elizabeth Gilbert. Tracey is also preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Gilbert, Barbara Gilbert Mitchell, and Dorothy Fleming.

Tracey is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Michael “Mike” Wayne Trivett, her daughter, Meghan Hailey (John); grandson, John Michael Hailey; granddaughter, Charlotte Lynn Hailey; sister, Tina Trivett (Bruce); niece, Miranda Trivett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the most amazing mom, wife, nana, sister, friend and person. She touched every persons heart she came across. She was so sweet, pure, fun, thoughtful, supportive and trustworthy. There will be many with a hole in our heart forever.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to your local ASPCA.

    Please know how very, very sorry and sad I am for the loss of your beautiful, sweet wife, Mother, Nana, Sister, and Aunt. She was always so happy and sweet every time I saw her. I am praying for you all to find strength and comfort in your memories in the difficult days ahead.
