Obituary
Trevor Paul Wozny rests now in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, worshipping at His very feet. He is no longer suffering. Born on October 17, 1990, Trevor passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 31. His first love was music, and it was his best language. He played guitar dexterously but was able to coax something beautiful from any instrument he picked up, desiring to help others see life more clearly and wonderfully through the lens of his music. He had taken up painting in recent years and amazed his family and friends with his striking compositions, especially his renderings of hands – notoriously difficult to draw. His hands always reached and cradled. He had been learning the cooking trade for some time, working his way through stages of complexity, and was about to start his dream job of making pastries. Trevor was an artist in every sense of the word.
Trevor is survived by his loving father and mother, Stephen and Keallie Wozny; his dear older sister, Hayley Wozny DeRoche and dear brother-in-law Patrick DeRoche and their children, Winnie and King; and his dear older brother, Stephen Kyle Wozny.
He was very loved by many. He will be very missed.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on September 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at Stony Point Church, 2330 Buford Road, Richmond, VA 23235. Interment will be private.

Trev loved trains and maps and bridges and all those in between beautiful things in the world. He was an artist. He painted canvases of all sizes and textures. He cooked beautiful french dishes and meals. He took photos. He mixed beats. He grew happy house plants and took care of two happy cats.
I met Trev later in his life. We liked to watch trains together. I miss him. I will miss him.

Trevor, we only saw each other a handful of times over the years but I genuinely loved hanging out with you. You were cool, funny, easy to talk to and a sincerely nice guy. I’m devastated you’re gone and I’m so sorry you were hurting but I hope you’ve found peace and happiness in whatever lies beyond this existence. I’ll always be grateful that our paths crossed. Rest easy man
