Obituary

Uldine “Mama Lord” Lord, 91, of N. Chesterfield, VA went Home to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie & Thelma Caldwell; daughter, Carolyn Highlander; son, Donald “Donnie” Lord, Jr.; brothers, Coy Lee Caldwell and Waynard Caldwell; sister, Leona Browning; and numerous other family members. Mama Lord is survived by her sons, Bernie Lord and Donnie Brown; daughters, Marsha Williams, Donna Lord, Ruth Soulliere, Sharon Brown, and Doris Lord. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members. Mama Lord was a longtime member, Deacon, and Clerk with Webber Memorial Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, July 29 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Mama Lord’s funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 30 at the Morrissett Chapel. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
