Obituary

Virginia “Ginger” Breland Myers, 80, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2022. She is survived by her three sons, Thomas B. Myers (Cynthia), Henry E. Myers III (Kathleen), Benjamin W. Myers (Jamie); five grandsons, Henry E. Myers, IV, Joshua G. Myers, Christopher J. Myers, Benjamin W. Myers, Jr., Beaureguard H. Myers; Two Granddaughters, Katelyn E. Myers, Abigail L. Myers; brother, James E. Breland, Jr. (Emily); sister-in-law, Minerva Walters; nephews, Tom Griffith, James Breland, III, James Walters, Sr., Willard Walters;  nieces, Kathy Moore, Becky Hayashi and Virginia Woody; as well as extended family and friends.  Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Myers, Jr.; parents, James E. Breland and Virginia Breland; sister, Beverly Griffith; and brother-in-laws, William S. Griffith and Henry W. Walters.

Ginger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and teacher, and she will be greatly missed.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service. Her funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Centralia Presbyterian Church. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Centralia Presbyterian Church, Good Samaritan, or Samaritan’s Purse.
