Stafford, Walter, 82, Of Chesterfield, Passed Away On Monday, December 10, 2007. He Was Preceded In Death By His Son, W. Wayne And Grandson, Ronnie. Surviving Are His Beloved Wife Of 61 Years, Virginia Mae Stafford, Daughters And Sons-In-Law, Joyce And John Dyson, Brenda And Ralph Hartman; Sons And Daughters-In-Law, D. Edwin And Karin Stafford, Glen A. And Nadine Stafford, Adrian D. And Debbie Stafford; Daughter-In-Law, Nancy L. Stafford; Twenty-Four Grandchildren And Twenty-Four Great-Grandchildren. Mr. Stafford Was A Proud U.S. Army Wwii Veteran, A Retiree Of Reynolds Metals, Bellwood Extrusion Plant And A Former Chaplain And Commander Of American Legion Post 186 And A Member Of The 40/8 Voiture Locale 53. The Family Will Receive Friends 2 To 4 And 6 To 8 Pm On Wednesday At Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte.10). His Funeral Service Will Be Held 11 Am Thursday At The Manchester Ward, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 4601 Bailey Bridge Rd.. Interment Will Follow With Military Honors At Dale Memorial Park. In Lieu Of Flowers Contributions Can Also Be Made To The General Missionary Fund For The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 15 E. South Temple, 2Nd Floor East, Salt Lake City, Ut 84150.
