Obituary

William Edward Cooley, 86, of Richmond, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Ann Cooley; parents, Edna Mae Doyle, and William S. Cooley; companion, Jean Inge; sister, Marie Grace Cooley Cameron. William is survived by two daughters, Tammy Beach (Patrick), and Penny Johnson; daughter in law, Sherry Norris; son in law, Rick Bell (Bethiah); sister, Rose Marie Cooley George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd.. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service with interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newby’s Bridge Rd.. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

    I am so sorry for your loss.
    I’m here for you if you need me day or night.
    Just know that as you move on without your dad that he’s is watching over you and as life goes on be PROUD of the young lady you are and know that he is also . Just remember that the memories will get you thru the bad days.
