Obituary

William Michael Ogden passed away on the morning of September 20, 2022. Mike spent his final days surrounded by his family. Born in Rockbridge County, he was the second of four sons. He is predeceased by his parents, Earl David and Helen Morris Ogden. Mike is survived by his two daughters, Dr. Kimberly Michelle “Missy” Ogden and Jennifer Ogden Staneart, son-in-law, Joshua Staneart, three beautiful granddaughters, Ashleigh Tyler, Grace Whitney and Gillian Quaiff Staneart, his lifelong best friend, Deborah Alford, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dana and Tommy Gordon, nieces, Berkley Gordon Mudrick (Colin), Brittany Gordon Trible (Paul), brother-in-law, Jay Alford, and nieces Elizabeth and Jordan Alford, as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Mike dedicated 30 years as a Master Craftsman at Custom Cabinets and Millworks, but his #1 priority was spending time with his daughters and granddaughters. A come-and-go memorial visitation will take place on Friday, September 23^rd, 2022 from 4pm-6pm at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield.
