Obituary

Harold "Sonny" Woodrow Anderson Jr., 82, of Chesterfield, departed this Earth on Friday, January 25, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley Applewhite Anderson; brothers, Wayne, Robert (Loretta), and Charles (Mary Lou) Anderson; sisters, Geneva Harris (Mike), Betty Robertson, Peggy Faris, and Janice Coates (Gary); brother-in-law, Waverly Applewhite (Bernice); sister-in-law, Madge Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ilma Anderson. Harold was a proud employee of Chesterfield Utilities for 37 years and was an active member of the Chesterfield Tractor Club. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rt. 10) His funeral service will be held 11 am on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held the same day at Dale Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1504 Santa Rosa Rd.
