Obituary
Allen Ray Rodgers passed away November 18, 2022 after losing his battle with cancer. He was born May 4, 1957 to Harless and Bertha Rodgers.
Allen was a devoted husband and father who always loved and took care of his family. He was a dedicated employee as Residential Maintenance Technician who, in his spare time, worked to help bring comfort to grieving “pet parents” with the work he did at the Pet Cemetery he and his wife owned. He was a kind and generous friend who will be remembered and missed by so many of the lives he touched.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Harless Rodgers and Bertha Cavender Haga; William Haga (“Pop”); and sons, Allen Steve and Jimmy T.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Marsha Rodgers; children, Eddie (Jessica), Josh (Tiffany), Allen II, Randy, Daniel, and Michael; 5 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (John), Debbie (Bruce), Gaye (Randy), Vanessa (Glenn), Jimmy (Tonya), and Samuel “Sammy” (Terry); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his beloved dogs, Duke and Daisy.
Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Services, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield. A celebration of life will be held at the Morrissett chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1pm with a visitation from 12-1. Burial will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
