Obituary
Jordan Elizabeth Barksdale, 23, of Chesterfield, Va. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2021. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph A. Pitts and Henry D. Barksdale, Sr.; grandmothers, Jean B. Pitts and Sylvia Barksdale; cousin, Jared Belton; and uncle, Steve Barksdale. She is survived by her father, Henry D. Barksdale, Jr.; mother, Staci P. Barksdale; brother, Henry “Ryan” Barksdale; boyfriend, Jake Morris; grandmother, Peggy Barksdale; aunts, Donna Rice and Vickie Gouldman; uncle, Edward Davis; cousin, Celeste Caveness; and numerous loving friends. Jordan was an employee of the Chesterfield County Treasurers office. She was pursing a degree to become a surgical technician. She was a lover of all things outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATVs and spending time with her family and friends. Jordan especially loved spending time with her boyfriend, Jake and their dog Sky. Family will receive friends 3 pm to 5 pm and 6pm to 8 pm, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, Va. Her Celebration of Life will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the funeral home. Her interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to Chesterfield Professional Firefighters Charitable Foundation, www.cpffcf.org <http://www.cpffcf.org> or Chesterfield County Police Foundation, www.chesterfieldpolicefoundation.org <http://www.chesterfieldpolicefoundation.org>.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy….prayers to Henry, Staci, Ryan and Jordan’s boyfriend. No one should ever have to bury their child/sister/loved one. It breaks my heart. RIP pretty girl.

My prayers and condolences to Henry , Stacy, Ryan and so many friends. She will be forever missed by so many. She was a sweet sweet girl who was truly a ray a sunshine. I know she is in Heaven dancing.
