Obituary
Michelle Louise Garroutte, 55, of N. Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Cross and Jean Hood; and sister Geraldine. Michelle is survived by her husband, Mike Garroutte; children, Kevin Sharp and Kayleigh Ward; grandchildren, Riley-Jay, Rome, and Indi-Ray Sharp, Jazmine and Sasha Ward; sisters, Loraine Leslie and Penny Cross; stepfather, Eddie Hood; and halfbrother, Chris Sanford. Friends may visit from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. I had the great pleasure of meeting Michelle and enjoying her awesome cooking. The dinner was great but getting to better know Michelle was more special. I am happy to have had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person – genuine to the core!
