  1. With love and fond memories for my “Asawa ko” Brian
I met Brian through Facebook in 2014 while i was still working in Bahrain as a nurse. We said our “Hi’s” and “ How are you’s”. Later on we exchange messages everyday . We talked, we laughed ,we encourage and lift up each other and fell in love.
He loved to tell me stories about his family ,work, funny and silly random stories. At times when I was stressed with work he would calm me down and just soothe me with his stories until i fall asleep. He was the sweetest , kindest ,thoughtful and loving person I’ve known.
In 2016 we finally met each other in person in the Philippines .I cannot forget that day when i fetched him in the airport .I was so nervous and excited. He just swept me off my feet and hug me tightly. We cannot stop staring at each other just to make sure it’s real and we are not dreaming.
One day i woke up from my nap and he was not by my side. I was calling and looking for him everywhere. I waited and was so worried ,then there was a knock from the door .It was Brian bringing pork barbecue in the sticks ,hanging rice and young coconut juice. He was grinning sheepishly ,he said he wanted to surprise me.
We spent the rest of the days, meeting and visiting my family and relatives which they prepare a feast for Brian. Going to places enjoying each other’s company, visiting old churches and museums.
When the time came to say goodbye ,it was the hardest and saddest. We just cuddled and cried and promised each other that we will see each other again and we will never be far apart. We planned we dreamed , but due to circumstances it prevented us to do so. But we prayed and did not lose hope.
You were gone before i knew it and only God knows why. If love alone could have saved you Brian, you never would have died. God’s grace ,love and forgiveness saves you. Rest in peace my love .In my heart is where your story lives. I love you and missed you so much.
    Loving you forever,
    Aimee

Brian, the news of your passing has sent ripples throughout our world. You had just reached days before to tell me to be safe during the ice storm damage. You have always been so thoughtful. Thank you for being the nucleus of many friendships. Rest easy.
