Obituary

Carol Ann Wood Lantz, 75, of Chesterfield, Virginia gained her angel wings peacefully at her home on March 9, 2024. Carol was greeted in heaven by her mother Virginia W. Wood, her father Raymond J. Wood, brother John A. Roach, brother-in-law, Glenn Bozarth and nephew, Ryan Scott Bozarth. Carol was a graduate of the class of ‘66 from Thomas Dale High School. Carol leaves her devoted sister, Virginia Bozarth; nephew, Steven Bozarth; great niece, McKenzie Lilly Bozarth; and her dogs Max and Prince. Carol retired from Phillip Morris with 28 years and 9 months. Carol is remembered for love of family, lifelong friends, love of music & concerts, and Farm Aid Volunteer. She was kind-hearted and a gentle soul and had amazing stories about her experiences following the Highwaymen. While she will be greatly missed, we find peace in cherishing the wonderful memories we have shared with her. Thank you to Hospice Affinity team and extra family and friends assisting with her care. A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm with her funeral service starting at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 16 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment will be private at the family cemetery in Lewisville, NC.
