Charles N. Charlie Salmon, 90, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Evans Salmon; daughter, Diane S. Spencer and her husband, Ralph; sons, Charles Ellis Salmon and his wife, Carolyn, Ted Thurston Salmon and his wife, Debbie; nine grandchildren, Tracey, Missy, Mary Stewart, Trevor, Brandon, Bo, Beth, Jessica, and Torie; fourteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Salmon was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge, a 50-year member of Beulah UMC, and served with the 8th Air Force 457th Bomber Group in WWII (1941-1945). The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday at Beulah United Methodist, followed by a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Beulah United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 6930 Hopkins Rd., Richmond, VA 23234.
