Obituary
David Franklin, 36, of Midlothian, Va. passed away on Thursday, May 28th, 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Franklin. He is survived by his wife, Elena Franklin; children, Corey, Austin, Isabelle, and Madelyn; mother, Ellen (Kelley) Polyak; father, Lawrence Franklin; sister, Kyle (Issa) Jackson; brother, Joshua Polyak; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and other loving family and friends. David was a graduate of Arab High School and continued on to earn his Associate”s degree from Virginia College. He was a Certified Massage Therapist and Medical Massage Practitioner. Family will receive friends from 2 pm- 4 pm and 6 pm- 8pm on Wednesday, June 3 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, Va. A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 3 pm at the funeral home.

I’m so sorry. I remember so many of the things that you had to say about David while he was growing up – especially how proud you were as he returned to Virginia, started his own family and got his massage therapist license. I hope you and your family find peace in time.

Josh’s eulogy was so touching, Kyle’s words were beautiful, and his son was so incredibly brave and strong to talk about his father. My thoughts and prayers are sincerely with all of you and may the good Lord brings you his peace and comfort.
