David and I graduated from high school together. I always viewed him as a ‘gentle giant’. I had the pleasure of working along side him in public safety along with Mike. Very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences and prayers to the family.

  4. Hallo David loved your beautiful Tribute Video. I was able to see you again .Whoever created your video did a wunderbar job and I can certainly see it was done with so much love for you.

I remember Sheriff Wingo used to say that he wasn’t going to die that he was going to ugly to death.. And we would laugh.
You are missed and will never be forgotten.

While I never had the opportunity and pleasure to meet David, I feel I knew him through his tireless companion and fiancee, Windie.
David must have been a very special person to generate such love and devotion from another.
