Obituary

Frances Ann Southerland, 84, of Midlothian, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Rock; father, Braxton L. Rock; two sisters, Dorothy Fry (Kenneth), Eleanor Newcomb (Raymond). She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Leamon Southerland Jr.; sister, Joyce Heath (Allen); son, Michael Southerland (Lisa); daughter, Michelle Hill; two granddaughters, Taylor Barlow and Schylur Southerland; two grandsons, Robert Barlow and Colby Southerland; great-grandson, Kaiden Dunn. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Heritage Baptist Church, 7777 Cogbill Rd.. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Heritage Baptist Church with her burial to follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newby’s Bridge Rd.. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Walk to End Alzheimer’s (act.alz.org) or American Heart Association (heart.org).
