Obituary
Gary Lee Plummer Sr, of Midlothian, VA; a man who lived life in the fast lane with his love
for muscle cars, specifically, Camaros and Mustangs, has taken the checkered flag on life’s
great race, crossing the finish line on April 25, 2024. Born to rev up this world on March 6,
1969, in Richmond, VA, Gary’s engine never idled in his 55 years, leaving us with rock n’ roll
memories as classic AC/DC & Guns N’ Roses
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Franklin Plummer Sr.,and Shirley Ann Diehl;
and brothers, Jerry F. Jr., Woodrow W., and Terry E. Plummer. Gary is survived by his
children, Tianna J. Plummer and Gary L. Plummer, Jr. (Starla Callahan); grandsons, Nero
Lee and Sebastian A. Callahan; brother, Scott A. Plummer (Christina); sisters, Tammy A. and
Tina A. Plummer; and former wife, Erica J. Ward.
Gary was a true Renaissance man of the digital and diesel age, He could shift from building
PC boards to rebuilding car and train engines without missing a beat. His hobbies weren’t
just pastimes; they were passions that fueled his creativity and satisfied his insatiable
curiosity. Whether he was battling zombies in Resident Evil, racing through the streets in
GTA , or building his empire in the world of computer software, Gary was always in the
driver’s seat.
His career pit stops at United Power Corp, Danaher Corp, and Amsted Rail Industries-
Brenco. He A hard worker by night and a complete nerd connoisseur by day, Gary was a
collector of all things “cool”– from the epic tales of the “Lord of the Rings” to the
intergalactic adventures of “Star Wars.” He even had a soft spot for the beagle Snoopy,
proving that every tough exterior has its lovable layer.

Known for his humor and charm that could jump-start a smile on anyone’s face, Gary was
the “most HILARIOUS one in the family” (…debatable) and “ The King of Dad Jokes. Though
Stubborn as a mule but with a heart more golden than C-3PO, he tackled life’s challenges
like a Jedi knight.
So here’s to Gary Lee Plummer Sr., the man who marched to the beat of his own drum and
tinkered with the very fabric of his universe. His final logout may have come too soon, but
the high score he left behind in the game of life is one for the ages.
