Obituary

Paulini, George Henry, 90, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2010. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bettie Lyttle Paulini, and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Lamoreux; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Peggy Paulini; grandchildren, Alex Paulini, Matt and Michelle Lamoreux; great-grandchildren, Cole and Courtney Lamoreux. A WWII veteran, George was a captain in the Army Corps of Engineers and had primary responsibilities for the famous Phantom Fleet prior to the D-Day invasion. He retired as a department head in the procurement section at Defense General Supply Center. He loved the beach, fishing, traveling with Bettie, and being with his family. George was a member of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10), where funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, 4401 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, VA 23224.
