What a fun guy to be with. Met him at an L.C. Bird football when My son, Eric, played there. He and his friend, Cordell, could be heard all over the stadium shouting, “GO BIRD” .
They were a hoot. We became friends and when my son went to play at the University of Richmond Eric would get him a ticket for the games. We would meet there and we would go all the way to the top seats and he could be heard again shouting, “GO SPIDERS, GO ERIC”. He tailgated with us and played cornhole and he was real good at that. He also custom printed t-shirts and sweat shirts for us. We still have them and wear them. Last time I saw him was at his wife’s funeral. Now they are together again and I believe they both will be eternally cheering for their children and grand children as they go through life.
It was great honor to have known him and will miss him.
