Obituary

Harry Morgan Arthur (age 96) died on Thursday, January 25, 2018 of Chester, VA. He was the youngest of nine siblings born to Pat and Susie Arthur of Gladys, VA. He was the beloved husband of the late Dimples S. Arthur; father of Linda S. Moseley (John) and Michael H. Arthur, Sr. (Faye); grandfather of Jennifer L. Martin (Robert), Karen P. Estep (John), and Dixie J. Burkholder (Ben); and great-grandfather of Sarah E. Arthur, Elizabeth M. Arthur, and Brent M. Martin. He is preceded in death by his grandsons Michael H. Arthur, Jr. and Richard A. Arthur. Friends may visit from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 30 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 31 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
