Obituary
Iris Ruth Cooke, 88, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bailey Cooke; parents, Mary Jane and Clarence Graham Dunlow; two daughters, Jane Rivers Wykle, Brenda Sandridge Emerson; grandson, Chris Wykle; and great-grandson, Trey Wykle. She is survived by her beloved her son, Michael Lee Cooke; son in law, Bruce Wykle; granddaughter, Jessica Shipman (Billy); grandson, Gene Wykle; two great-granddaughters, Katie Shipman, Samantha Shipman; and her great-great-granddaughter, Abby Hundley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
