Obituary

Jerry Fleeman, 80, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 24, 2021.  He is survived by his beloved Wife of 55 years, Judith Ann Fleeman; Two Daughters, Mary Shifflett, Linda G Wainscott (Devon); Son, Lawrence E Fleeman (Marleen); grandchildren, Melissa, Mandy, Ian, Amy, Jeffrey, Alex, Sarah, DJ, Darrian and 9 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence P Fleeman, Mother, Lorraine Perdue.

Pastor Jerry Fleeman received a Masters’ Degree in Divinity. he enlisted in the Air Force where he served for four years and was honorably discharged.   He was a man that truly loved the Lord, and he was very passionate about the Word of God. He strived hard to please the Lord. and like someone with the mindset of Paul, who stated that “he had a charge to keep and a God to glorify.” His mission was to bring people into the Kingdom of God through preaching the gospel and his missionary work.

He and his wife fostered children providing the love and care in their time of need.  Until this day, they call and show their love to their honorary parents, Pastor Fleeman and his wife.   He was a person with a great love of life, and meeting people as he is traveling around the world. He loved western and war movies. His favorite actor was “John Wayne”.   He loved researching his family history.  He trusted and believed God in everything that he did, and he truly was a man that walked by faith. He not only believed, but he also demonstrated it every day and showed us all that his faith in God was undeniable.

He was not just a devoted pastor and preacher; he was also a devoted family man. He loved his family.  God has received our beloved back to his throne.  He will be forever loved and greatly missed. The family will be planning services later.
