Obituary
Jo Ann Carraway, 87, of North Chesterfield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3. 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Hugh James Carraway; first husband, Robert Edward Lee; parents, Joe Smith Oldham and Velda Voline Oldham; granddaughter, Nikki Meadows; nephew, Kerry Lockhart. Jo Ann is survived by her children, Cynthia Rene Inman, Hugh Martin Carraway (Rebecca), Patricia Ann Meadows (John), Thomas Joe Carraway (Gail); grandchildren, Jamie, Jenny (Davy), Natoshia (David), Austine, Jessie, Travis, Hunter, Caroline, Matthew, Sammie, Justin (Melissa), Abby (Kim); great-grandchildren, Josh, Hayden, Joe, Arwen, Arya, Zoe, Leo, Evan, Chase, Austria, Shay; brother, Charles C. Oldham (Marilyn); sister, Faye Lockhart; niece, Marcia (Mike); nephews, Mark (Debbie), Tony (Julie), Bruce (Pam) and Bobby (Vicky). Jo was a member of the Church of Christ on Courthouse Rd, enjoyed fishing with her family, shopping, casinos, Bingo, playing Rummy, eating fried catfish, but especially adored her family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rte. 10). Her funeral ceremony will follow the next day, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Final rest will be on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Dale Memorial Park.
