Obituary

Joyce Ann Brown, 89, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021.  Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Fisher; her father Joseph Fisher and her husband Oliver Brown.    She is survived by her Two Daughters, Ann Glenn Taylor (Jim), Olivia Joy Bratton (Edward); Three Granddaughters, Melanie Golden (Troy), Andrea Cataldo, Rachel Bratton; Grandson, Lance Taylor.  Joyce loved her family, friends, her cats, and the color purple.  She loved going to church, shopping, nature walks and flowers.  She loves the finer things of life while treasuring every moment she spent with those she loved.  She loved planning events especially around the holidays where she spends time with her grandchildren.   She was a great hostess.  Joyce was a “True Lady” who is loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed.   The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Webber Memorial Baptist Church. Her funeral service will be held on August 31, 2021, at 2pm.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Webber Memorial Baptist Church 7800 Salem Church Rd., N.
