Obituary

Linda Kendrick, 72, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2019. Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis Kendrick; sons, David (Tina) and Johnny (Kelly); grandchildren, Hunter (Mandy) and Megan; siblings, Rosa Nicklis and Jeff Dinsmore (Carol). She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy Dinsmore; and sister, Sharlene Ann Joyner. Linda enjoyed spending time RV camping with her family at Kerr Lake, where they would fish and swim. She was known for her cooking and baking; her family will miss her delicious Poor Man’s Cake. Linda was an active member of Good News Freewill Baptist Church on Courthouse Road. Friends may visit from 11-12 pm, with a funeral ceremony starting at 12 pm on Thursday, August 8, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N., Chesterfield, VA. Interment will be at Dale Memorial Park.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Linda was a very special lady. I have fond memories of when we were in high school, sleep overs, and the like. She had a contagious smile and laugh.
