Obituary
Michelle Louise Garroutte, 55, of N. Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Cross and Jean Hood; and sister Geraldine. Michelle is survived by her husband, Mike Garroutte; children, Kevin Sharp and Kayleigh Ward; grandchildren, Riley-Jay, Rome, and Indi-Ray Sharp, Jazmine and Sasha Ward; sisters, Loraine Leslie and Penny Cross; stepfather, Eddie Hood; and halfbrother, Chris Sanford. Friends may visit from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Michelle was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever known. I’m so blessed that she was my sister in-law. She was full of love and light. A little ball of energy. She lived her life to the fullest and left a lasting impact on all who met her. Our family will never forget her and will never be able to fill the empty place in our hearts. I love you Michelle and I look forward to the day that I will get to see you again. Rest easy and know that so many of us will miss you and we will take care of Michael for you.
