I met Otis at the King Pin Lanes bowling alley some years back. He was always so encouraging to me as a new bowler starting out. We shared a lot of laughs and good jokes. I remember him as being such a joy to be around. May your memories of Otis carry you through the sadness you feel and bring you peace from God above.

I’m so sorry to hear about Otis. He was the sweetest man and I will always remember his smile that could light up a room. In fact, I never remember him not smiling. I know this is a tough time for everyone. Sending our love and strength.

I met big O, as he was often called, in the VAARNG around 1964. If not for his help and kindness, my military life would not have gone so well. He never refused to help me over the many years we served together. king David tells us we will go to him. What a great day that will be. We will miss Otis.

Served in the National Guard with Otis back in the seventies. What a kind a gentle soul he was. Always treated me like a friend, not just a recruit. “Well done my good and faithful servant”
