Obituary

Sherry Snyder, 65, of Chester, VA., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Davies; and father, Don Davies. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Gary Snyder; daughter, Charity Snyder; son, Joshua Snyder; brother Donnie Davies; and sister in Christ, Harriet Anderson. There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t read her Bible and she remained a faithful servant through Christ. All she wanted for others was to see Christ through her so that one day they will be reunited. She was a giving person, never hesitant to give anything to someone in need and though she leaves a hole in this world, she is now healed in the loving arms of Jesus Christ. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Heritage Baptist Church, 7777 Cogbill Rd. Her funeral service will on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church. She will have a graveside service on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church, 7777 Cogbill Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832.
