Obituary

Stella Ray Williams, 103, of N. Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2019. Stella is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Nannie Wise; husband of 72 years, Charles Williams; grandson, Rosco Williams (Lisa); sister, Alice Rhodes (Elwood); and brother, Shelton Wise. She is survived by her son, Wayne Williams (Pat); daughter, Carolyn W. Monroe (Keith); grandchildren, Wayne Williams, Jr. (Sharon), Tony Williams (Suzanne), Stephen Monroe (Rachael), and Emily Monroe Waldburger (Carey); great-grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Michael Williams, Bayleigh Williams, Ryder Williams, Jack Monroe, Amelia Monroe, and Elise Waldburger; and nephew, Durwood Rhodes. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 2, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA. A service will be held Wednesday, July 3, at 10 am at Morrissett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Branch’s Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Branch’s Baptist Church Cemetery Fund; 3400 Broad Rock Blvd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234.
