Obituary
Virginia Sears Beavans, 92, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2017. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Clement (Donald), Joan Beavans, Nancie Birkhead, and Shirley Beavans Bates and her late husband, Ervin Bates; grandsons, Christopher Beavans, David Sheets, Donnie Clement; granddaughter, Lara Caperton, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Beavans; parents, Perry and Maggie Sears; and grandson, Michael Sheets. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). Her graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park. Flowers are greatly appreciated.

Mom, its now june 18, 2018, i miss you more than words can say….not having your beautiful self here with me is the ultimate heart break……But now you are with Dad, your one true love, Ervin is with you, Donnie came to join you all so i guess you 4 play poker on saturday nights….I only have one thing to say about you that is the truest statement ever made…..You are the absolute definition of what it means to be a TRUE SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN LADY, MOTHER, WIFE, FRIEND, and anything else a person is. Goodnight my beautiful Mother….I will love you always….until next time, and until I see you again….HUGS beautiful lady……Your baby daughter….Shirley Ann.
