I did not know your son, but I want to thank him for giving the ultimate sacrifice for his country. I cannot begin to imagine your heartbreak, but somehow I hope you can take some comfort in his courage and take pride in having raised such a fine young man. God bless you all during this difficult time.

  2. I can’t even begin to find words that seem fitting. Your son gave the ultimate sacrifice for my family and his fellow soldiers. As a mother with two sons now in the service, I share your pride in your son and your sorrow as a parent. I am so sorry for your loss. Your son is a hero and we will be there to celebrate his life with you on Saturday night. I pray that God will ease your suffering and I want you to know that our family grieves with you today.
