John E. Spiaggi, 58, Of Chesapeake, Passed Away At His Home On Wednesday, February 18, 2009. He Is Survived By The Love Of His Life And Best Friend, Tassie Turner, Her Son, Brandon And Granddog, Jaxon; Sister, Edith S. Rider And Her Husband, David; Sister, Frances L. Spiaggi; Brothers, Joseph C. Spiaggi And His Wife, Joyce, Laurence F. Spiaggi And His Wife, Sue; Numerous Nieces And Nephews; And Many Other Family And Friends, Especially, Jose Mercado, His Adopted Son. He Was Preceded In Death By His Parents, John L. And Elva H. Spiaggi; Sister, Phyllis S. Kirkpatrick; Brother, Phillip. John Was A U.S. Navy Veteran And A Retiree Of Crofton Diving. His Family Will Receive Friends 2 To 6 P.M. On Sunday At Grand Affairs, 1201 Club House Drive Chesapeake, Va 23322, With A Celebration Of His Life To Begin At 3:30 P.M.. Interment Will Be Private. Morrissett Funeral Home, Richmond, Va (877) 719-7901 Is In Charge Of Arrangements (Condolences At Morrissett.Com). Johns Family Wishes To Offer Many Thanks To All Those That Have Given Comfort And Friendship Through This Tough Journey. Pokey, As He Was Known To His Family Will Be Greatly Missed For His Can Do Attitude And Ability To Help Solve Problems. John Loved Fishing. I WAS VERRY SORRY TO HERE OF YOUR LOST.I WORK AT CROFTON DIVING IN INVENTORY SO I SAW JOHN ALOT.
HE WAS REALLY A GOOD PERSON.
