Obituary

Robert Phillips, 70, of Chesterfield, died peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Tristan Phillips. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Phillips; sons, Shane Phillips (Annie) and Beau Phillips (Ryan); sisters, Carol Smith (Keith) and Donna Smith (Perry). Papaw is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Lauren, James, Collin, Jacob, Ayu, Kayla, Keri, and Alyssa. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10), where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia, VA.
