Obituary

Robert, Ronnie Edward, 66, gained his wings on Saturday, February 17, 2018. He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife Sharon; four sisters: Elnora Jones, Johnnie Mae Richardson, Barbara Wiggins (Clarence), and Catherine Williams (Reginald); four brothers: Arthur Roberts (Ramona), Thomas Roberts, Karl Roberts, and Dennis Roberts (Tameka); five brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; aunts Eartha L. Wells and Alice Warren; a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, including Debby, who occupied a special place in his heart; and many other cousins, relatives, and friends who loved him. He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and his smile that would light up the sky. Even though Ronnie was small in stature, he was large in spirit, and everyone who came into his circle was drawn to him. He was his own supernova. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute. May he continue to cruise on calm waters. Sail on, sailor. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 26th at 2 p.m. at Encounter Christian Church, 21401 Hull Street Rd., Mosely, VA 23120.

  1. I just want to thank you today for being the love of my life….For making me laugh and making me happy and giving me the best of yourself always.
I want to thank you for being my best friend….
For everything you’ve put up with about me, and making me a better woman than I’d have ever been without you.
And I want to thank you for being my husband. For being my partner, my soul mate, for sharing this journey with me, and for all the great memories that you have left with me.
You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I will never ever stop loving you. I want to see that smile when I sail the calm waters and join you! Until then my Sailor………….. Your Lovingly Wife, Sharon.

  3. May God’s comfort and peace be with you. I’ve known Ronnie for what seems like forever through Dave Jones/Bizport. He was such a blessing to me, and to each of us. His smile lit up the whole office. No matter my mood, he always made me laugh. It was like a daily dose of Ronnie that we all need(ed). His way with people was so special and he will certainly be missed. I enjoyed all of his stories about life, music, and the puppy y’all adopted not so long ago. He spoke so very fondly of you, Sharon, and of his family… His love for you was evident. I certainly wish I would have made the time to listen to him play. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
